Huuh I cant help myself but to blog about this. Because the food was really superb.

Saya telah berazam untuk memasak sendiri pada hujung minggu. But apparently I failed. Sebab hujung minggu adalah best untuk explore pegi jalan-jalan cari makan. So yesterday we went to have lunch at this Halal Nyonya restaurant- Bibi Chik. MNI nak pegi hantar kereta utk wiring hapa ntah, and happened that this restaurant is just nearby. So sementara tunggu kereta siap, kami mencekiklah dulu.

We decided to makan hidang since the lauk pauk sangat menggiurkan. Ada jugak jual set lunch but I did not look in details because tekak aku dah tebayang lauk pauk penuh semeja. Btw, the restaurant is quite small, it's  just one shop lot. And the environment is so nyonya style. If you go there for dinner, siap ada live band ok. Akan tetapi kedai ni bukak pukul 12-3PM. Then tutup kejap, and bukak semula pukul 6-9PM.

One of the dishes we ordered- CRISPY BRINJAL. Homaigod. MNI is non-brinjal eater. Dia kan tak suka sayur merepek-repek ni. Akan tetapi dia makan terung ni sampai licin ! Even though nama dia crispy brinjal, but the inner texture is still soft. Cuma crumbs & honey yang menyalutnya itu membuatkan crispy. The look might be ordinary, but the taste makes me termimpi-mimpi lagi terung ini. It will cost you RM10 for the small portion (2 pax).

Ni plak nama dia HONEY SQUID. Alamak sedap jugak benda alah ni weh ! Disalut degan honey and crumb apa ntah, dengan ada bijan-bijan. Tastes so mild that is not to sweet, just enough to make you drool of this dish again and again. kalau bagi aku sepinggan, aku makan macam cikedis pun licin agaknya. The price ; RM15 for small portion (2 pax).

 Ok next on the table is ASSAM FISH. At first I thought it would be somehting like asam pedas, but I was totally wrong. Kau hengat ni kat Melaka nak makan asam pedas, hihihi. We opted for ikan Siakap. Kalau nak ikan lain oun ada macam tilapia, jenahak dan sebagainya. The gravy was so nice weh. Masam-masam sikit, manis haih ntah la macam mana aku nak describe tak tau. Tapi mmg berani kerat jari, mmg sedap. The price differs with the fish you choose. Macam ikan siakap ni, RM7/100 gram. Yang kitorang melantak ni dalam 400gm, so it costs us RM28.

Total damage termasuk air (kedondong asam boi & ice lemon tea) is about RM60. I would say the price is OK for the taste yang sedap itu :) We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
