Hadoilah hari Isnin ni. Nyampah betul khen. Kalaulah boleh dok rumah or duduk kat Spa sendiri, alangkah indahnya. Eh I went to this course - Personal Career Development or something like that lah. I forgot the real course name. Btw the best career that suits me is something to deal a lot with people. I see it as me having my own Spa and communicate every single day with real people, real human being. Not with a simulation case, PC, numbers data and whatnots. No wonder I have to drag myself mcm nak mati utk pegi kerja sekarang. Big sigh.
Thats not the whole story I wanted to write. I mentioned previously we gonna have our section's raya gathering aite. I turned out so well ! Big clap to myself as one of the organisers. Well, it was only the two of us as organisers. Ini adalah acara kecil-kecilan je pun, target guests were around 40pax. Theme was potluck. That one i quite tak suka because every time I cook for potluck event, pasti..pasti.. masakan akan tidak menjadik. Mencik.
So this time around, I cepat cepat cop food yang senang, mudah dan konfem sedap [kononnya]. Maka I opted for nasik impit and kuah kacang. Padahal aku tak penah masak kuah kacang sepanjang hidup. Tapi tengok rupa macam senang je.
When I told MNI about the potluck Raya gathering khen..
Me: Section nak buat potluck raya gathering. Syg dah cop nak bawak kuah kacang
MNI : oo ye ke. Habes tu dah call Kak Liza [our usual caterer] suh masak?
Bleh plak dia dah konfiden aku tak boleh masak kuah kacang. Hek eleh kuah kacang
je pun !
Me : La buat ape suh Kak Liza masak. Syg masak sendirik lah.
MNI : ha ye lah tu.
Fine. tak yakin dengan masakan isteri. Fine... fine !
Memang turned out kuah kacang aku hangit, hitam, rasa lengkuas terlebih dan sebagainya. Itu pun masa tgh masak, called mama every 10 mins tanya betul ke masuk kacang, betul ke sukatan bnyk ini yada.. yada.. yada..nak masak punya la hazab. Nak kene tgu pecah minyak lah. Tu belum cerita bab preparation. Nak kena goreng kacang tanpa minyak, nak kene blend kacang. Walaweyh ntahhapehape kerja merenyah semua. Blergh!
But still...
Kuah kacang hangit dan tak sedap.
Ok dah. Lain kali aku suh Kak Liza masak. Atau aku bawak KFC atau Pizza Hut je. Period.
